Next March 20 will begin a unique journey to the summit of Ojos del Salado (6935m) a massive stratovolcano in the Andes on the Argentina-Chile border and the highest volcano in the world at 6,891 metres (22,608 ft).
Usually climbed from the Chilean and Argentine sides respectively, although the international border passes over both peaks.
The international mountain guide, Angel Armesto and his team made one trip carrying Tejos Carla Baeza, the daughter of the legendary pilot of helicopters Tejos Cesar Echeverria, who together with Murray Louis geologist killed in a plane crash near to the top of the volcano (the highest volcano in the world)

Near from the 25 years aniversary of the accident ( April 14) a Chilean Argentine team will start a joint adventure sports and unique characteristics. They will be film by the director Patrick Schwanek through a timely documentary that was broadcast in Chile and Argentina.
With input from several companies and army, the expedition will cross the valley of the six thousand in Fiambalá very close to the limit mountain, at the Paso de San Francisco.
It also expects a significant media coverage, setting up base camp in Campo del Arenal a press tent, where the satellite may impart different events every day. Which in itself is an excellent opportunity to learn more about one of most beautiful and unknown regions of South America, owner of a huge tourism potential and productive.



In the words of Carla Tejos this adventure is, ".. just a dream, can see the landscape he saw last before he died .. "




For Angel Armesto, however this new adventure is "... Return into the pure spirit of the mountain ..."



Undoubtedly, this adventure, full of values, will not remain indifferent to those on both sides of the ridge.
